This Development involves the construction of new residential accommodation by Whittaker Street Developments for long term lease by the NT Health Department for Hospital Worker Accommodation in Alice Springs. The development consists of:
- 41 one bedroom units that are not in studio format;
- 20 two bedroom units; and
- 10 three bedroom units.
The development includes undercover carparking, swimming pool, BBQ and outdoor eating areas, gymnasium, undercover children’s play area, central waste disposal area and associated works. Inclusive in the development is the redevelopment of the restaurant that previously occupied the space.
Construction is well underway.
Once complete, the 70 unit staff accommodation will be managed by the Alice Springs Hospital Residential Services unit. It is expected that this development will be complete at the end of 2022.
